GIF Sundsvall loans striker Shalom Ekong from Gais

GIF Sundsvall has reached an agreement with Gais on a loan deal for striker Shalom Ekong. The 22-year-old leaves Gais to gain more playing time and strengthens Sundsvall's attack for the remainder of the season. The loan extends until the end of the season, and Ekong is expected to be presented shortly.

Who is Shalom Ekong?

Shalom Ekong was signed by Gais a year ago from IFK Stocksund. At Gais, he has played eight matches and scored one goal this season. Ekong has started in only one match and has seven substitute appearances in league play. His contract with Gais extends until 2030.
