GIF Sundsvall travel to face Landskrona BoIS in the Superettan on Tuesday. The match at Landskrona Idrottsplats kicks off at 19:00 local time.
The Norrland side are coming off a 0-3 home defeat to Örebro SK last week. However, they have won two of their last five league matches, including a 1-0 victory at IK Brage on September 5. GIF Sundsvall sit 16th in the table with 16 points from 23 games. They have scored 16 goals and conceded 47 so far this season.
The Last Meeting
When the teams met in May, GIF Sundsvall won 2-1 at home. That victory is part of a mixed run of form that sees the team with two wins and three losses in their last five outings.
The Lineup Against Örebro
In the loss to Örebro, the manager started with a 4-4-2 formation. Goalkeeper D. Henareh played behind a back four of E. Carrick, L. Forsberg, J. Hedenquist and A. Atlee Manneh. The midfield consisted of E. Hansson, L. Nåvik, A. Demirol and E. Gojani, with C. Björk and Shalom Ekong leading the attack. Emil Hansson scored the decisive goal in the win over Brage, assisted by E. Gojani.
Landskrona BoIS are in seventh place and are coming off a 0-1 home loss to IFK Norrköping. Their last five results show two wins, two losses, and that victory over GIF Sundsvall in May. Tuesday's meeting is a chance for Sundsvall to break their away losing streak and take points against a side higher in the standings. Kick-off is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15.
