Maic Ndongala Namputu Sema, born 2 December 1988 in Åsele, is a Swedish professional footballer of Congolese descent who primarily plays as an attacking midfielder. He has built a lengthy career across multiple countries and Swedish leagues, including a stint at GIF Sundsvall. Sema is also the older brother of Ken Nlata Sema, born 30 September 1993 in Norrköping, who has represented Sweden at senior international level and played for clubs like Östersunds FK, Watford, Udinese, and Pafos FC. The brothers grew up in a football-oriented family, with their parents expressing pride in their careers and a long-held dream of seeing them play together.
Sema began his career in IF Sylvia's youth ranks before making his senior debut in 2007–2008. He moved to Hammarby IF in 2008, becoming a fan favorite, especially during the 2011 Superettan season.
